Funny how instantaneous communication has become these days. With the Queen mother going to the great gin palace in the sky, Kate found out about it after her mum called from NZ, halfway round the world, who had heard the news well before either Kate or myself had.

Just finished putting up some new pictures of the weekend we spent together in Stockholm last month - took a bit of time, but finally managed to get around to editing them. Now, I've only got to find time to sort out those pictures of Bexhill on Sea...

Well, it's been a while. Thought I'd have plenty of time while working in Sweden to keep this page updated, but the time seems to be all spent trying to work out how to respond to "interesting" user requests and getting things working properly. As a result, I'm not even getting to see much of Stockholm by night, let alone by day. It's Easter now though, and the holiday break is going to be spent doing one or a number of the following:
1. Sleeping
2. Laying under the car (not sleeping)
3. Shopping for a new sink
4. General lounging around, that doesn't include sleeping
5. Maybe a day out in the countryside somewhere if the weather hangs in.

The best thing I've been listening to in the last week is the new album by Teenage Fanclub and Jad Fair - possibly a career best for the Teenies.
